World Time Widget

Nine new themes, and themes made from your photos

World Time Widget has nine new themes, and a way to make your own from a photo. Your wallpaper, a holiday snap, anything you like.

The new themes

  • Nebula: deep indigo and orchid, from a purple night sky.
  • Lilac: soft lavender and periwinkle.
  • Orbit Dark and Orbit Light: navy and sage, and pale blue with cornflower.
  • Ember: charcoal with orange.
  • Paper: clean white with an orange accent.
  • Woodland, Desert and Urban: three camouflage themes.

Find them in Settings > Theme Settings. The preview card now shows the theme you tap, even when you’re editing your Light theme while your phone is in Dark Mode.

Make a theme from a photo

Under the swatches, tap From a photo, then Choose a photo (or copy an image and tap Paste). In a couple of seconds the app picks out the colours and shows you a live clock in your new theme.

It suggests a name based on what’s in the photo, which you can change. Tap Save theme and it’s applied straight away. Your themes sit under Your themes, and you can make as many as you like. To delete one, touch and hold its tile.

Everything happens on your phone. Only a small thumbnail is kept, not the photo itself. Your own themes can be used for widgets too, from the widget’s Theme setting.

Get it

Light and Dark are free. The new themes and Theme from a photo are part of Premium Club. Theme from a photo needs iOS 18 or later. Anyone can try making a theme and see how it looks before subscribing.
