New world clock widgets, including a whole Home Screen page
Widgets are what World Time Widget is named after, and this has been a big few months for them. There are seven new widgets, and on iOS 27 your world clocks can fill a whole Home Screen page.

A whole page of your people
iOS 27 adds a new extra-large widget size that fills an entire Home Screen page on iPhone. On iPad it’s available in landscape. Five widgets come in this size:
- Timeline: up to 12 clocks, one per row, with a red line for now.
- Horizontal: up to 24 clocks in six rows of four.
- Time Overlap: up to 11 people, with taller hour blocks.
- Analog Clocks: up to nine clock faces.
- World Map: the day/night map, with up to 11 clocks listed beneath it.
To add one, touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, choose World Time and swipe to the last size. You can also drag an existing widget’s corner out to fill the page. You can now choose more than eight clocks when you edit a widget, too.

Four new ways to read the time
These four are free:
- Fuzzy Time tells you the time in words, like “It’s twenty-five past one”, with the exact time underneath. It works in English, French, German and Spanish.
- Time Overlap shows the next 24 hours for several cities as blocks of daylight, work hours and night. Tap it to open the Calculator.
- Sun Arc shows where the sun is between sunrise and sunset in one city.
- Big Time is one city in big, bold digits.
More new widgets
- Analog Clock: a single analog clock for any time zone you choose.
- Sunrise & Sunset: today’s sunrise and sunset where you are now. It comes in Home Screen and lock screen sizes, and on Apple Watch. It moves up your Smart Stack around sunrise and sunset.
- World Map: your clocks plotted on a live day/night map. It now looks right on a Clear or Tinted Home Screen too.
