What's the timezone history of Ibiza?

Ibiza shares Central European Time and the federal Spanish DST schedule with the rest of the country. The island's longitude of around 1.5 degrees east places solar noon close to 12:54 during standard time. The position is broadly aligned with Italy and Switzerland to the north-east, and the seasonal DST shifts produce the same one-hour shifts as anywhere else in the CET zone. There is no Balearic-specific timezone behaviour.

What are the working hours in Ibiza?

Ibiza's working economy is built around the international electronic-music club industry, which has produced one of the most distinctive seasonal economies in Europe. The June-to-September club season runs from late evening through to dawn, with most of the headline DJ programming starting after 23:00. The off-season from October through April produces a quiet local economy of around 160,000 permanent residents, while the summer brings around 3.5 million visitors annually. Office hours in the conventional sectors follow Spanish patterns of 09:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00.

Where is Ibiza?

Ibiza is the third-largest of the Balearic Islands, around 150 kilometres south-west of Majorca in the western Mediterranean. The island's permanent population is around 160,000, with the eponymous Ibiza Town (Eivissa) on the south-eastern coast as the administrative capital. The neighbouring smaller island of Formentera, around 6 kilometres to the south, is administered jointly. The geography is gentler than Majorca's, with the Serra Grossa hills rising to around 475 metres and a coastline of small coves and limestone cliffs that has shaped much of the resort development.
